GRAB AND RUN – FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, IL

On 1/30/18, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a male subject asked to see engagement rings. He pulled out a wad of cash and showed it to the sales associate. The associate was suspicious and asked the team leader � to assist the subject. The subject asked to see a diamond ring. The team leader pulled the ring from the showcase but kept it in his possession. The subject then asked to see another ring. The team leader put the first ring back into the showcase and pulled out the second ring. While the team leader was holding the ring, the subject asked if he could take a picture of it. The subject acted as if he was going to take a picture and fled from the store with the ring. The subject was described as a Black male in his 30’s. He is 5’9” and weighs 160 pounds.He has gold teeth in the front of his mouth. He was last seen wearing a navy blue puffy coat, white shirt, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap with a star in the front.
