On 8/16/17, at approximately 8:45 p.m., two suspects approached the kiosk and asked to see gold chains. As the manager began to provide assistance, the suspects asked if the chains were gold filled, gold plated or solid. After the manager showed one of the suspects a chain, he said he wanted to see another. The manager took the first chain back and presented the second. The suspect then asked to see the first again. After the manager took the second chain she showed him the first again. At that point the suspect asked to try on the chain. When he had the chain on, he said, “this is almost too nice.” He then fled from the store with the chain. Both suspects were described as Hispanic males in their 20’s. The first suspect is 5’8″ and weighs 190 pounds. He has black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, and a black t-shirt that says “young and Restless.” He also has gold earrings in both ears. The second suspect is 5’11 and has a slender build. He has short hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a white towel around his neck. If you have any information regarding the identities of these suspects, please call the Glendale Police Department at (212) 687-0328.
