GRAB AND RUN – LEXINGTON, KY

On 8/8/18, at approximately 12:20 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and asked to see chains. He stated he wanted to see matching chains around a price of $2,800. The subject stated he was from West Tennessee. When questioned by someone who knew the area, the subject became nervous and did not know cities in the area. The subject then stated he wanted to see crosses. Once he was presented with a crucifix charm, he fled from the store with it. The subject was described as a 25-year-old Black male. He is 6’1” and weighs 175 lbs. He has a tattoo on his face near his sideburns. He was last seen wearing a grey zipped up hoodie and blue jeans. The jeans had a patch of a red, black and yellow snake on them. He also wore black and red Nike high top tennis shoes.
