On 9/16/22, at approximately 3:41 p.m., a subject went into a jewelry store and said he was looking for a gold chain. The subject looked at a number of different gold chains until he finally settled on the one in question. The subject said that he wanted to try it on and see how it looked in the mirror. When he had control of it, he fled from the location. The subject is a Black male. He is 6’0″, and weighs 180-200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a Carolina blue shirt, jeans, and black hat.
