On 7/26/17, at approximately 5:55 p.m., a suspect asked to see gold chains. He specifically asked to see 14 Karat gold chains. He stated his budget was $2200. The sales associate informed him there was one chain in the store that was within his budget. The suspect was shown the chain. The sales associate then put it on him. The suspect said “this is 14 Karat right?” The team member told him it was. The suspect then fled from the store with the chain. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late twenties. He is 5’8” and weighs 155 lbs. He has a thin build, black curly hair, dark skin and was wearing a black baseball cap. He had an indistinguishable black tattoo on his right forearm. He also had a red mark/cut on the right side of his neck at the t-shirt line.
