On 9/26/19, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and said he was looking for an engagement ring for a special lady. The subject was taken to the bridal case. He was shown a 2 ct. ring, but said he wanted something smaller. The associate then showed him a 1.5 ct. ring. At that point, the subject jumped up and snatched both items from the sales associate’s hand. He then fled from the store. The subject was described as a Black male in his mid 30’s. He is 6’1” and weighs 210 lbs. He had a scruffy white beard and a muscular build.  He was last seen wearing blue faded jeans and an athletic blue pullover long sleeve shirt. He also wore a white hat.
