GRAB AND RUN – NATIONAL CITY, CA

On 1/22/17, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the suspect looked at chains and then said he needed to leave to get his ID and wife. He returned later and said he would like to see the chain he saw earlier. After the sales associate presented the item, the suspect said he wanted to show his wife. As he said that, he looked out into the mall, in an effort to get the sales associate to look in that direction as well. He then backed away and fled from the store. The suspect is a 25-year-old Hispanic male. He is 5’6” tall and has an average build. He was last seen wearing a grey cap with a black button down shirt. He also had a Bluetooth ear piece with a microphone in his ear. If you have any information regarding the identity of this individual, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at (212) 687-0328.
