On 12/23/17, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a subject requested to try on a gold bracelet. Once the bracelet was removed from the display case, the male placed the bracelet on his wrist. The subject then stated he wanted two of the same bracelet; one for each wrist. The associate removed a second bracelet from the display case and placed it on the display pad. While the associate was conversing with another customer, the male grabbed the bracelet and fled from the store. The subject was described as a 20-year-old Black male. He is 5’9” and has a thin build. He has short dreads and a black hat. If you have any information regarding this subject, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at (212) 687-0328.
