On 2/28/18, at approximately 6:20 p.m., a subject stated he was interested in seeing engagement rings. The subject then inquired about the different qualities of a ring he should be aware of. The sales associate then informed him about the varying qualities of rings. The subject then asked if he could see two rings for comparison. The sales associate then took out two rings and took them to the scope. After the subject looked at both rings under the scope, the subject and associate conversed about payment options. As the associate was walking towards the display case, she left the two rings on the counter. The subject then grabbed both rings and fled from the store. The subject was described as a 27-year old Black male. He weighs 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat with stripes, a black jacket with stripes and black pants.
