GRAB & RUN – CAMDEN, SC

On 3/12/20, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and stated he was looking for a gold bracelet. The subject filled out a credit application, but he did not get approved. He then said he might pay in cash. The subject wanted to see a matching necklace to the bracelet. The bracelet was returned, and the subject was given the necklace along with additional information regarding other payment options. At that point, the subject fled from the store with the necklace.

This subject has committed at least five other grab and runs in the following South Carolina cities; Florence, North Charleston, Columbia, Summerville and Orangeburg. The oldest case within the pattern occurred on 2/13/20. The subject is Black and in his mid 30’s. He has a goatee. He was last seen wearing ripped jeans and a hat.
