GRAB & RUN – CHARLOTTE, NC

On 2/24/21, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and when he was greeted an employee asked him what he was interested in. He stated that he was interested in a gold chain. He was at the case, and had been looking before the sales associate finished with a different guest. He was shown a smaller gold chain, but said that he wanted something bigger. Since the larger gold chains have been secured in the safe, he was shown this chain. A soon as he had control of the chain, he backed up and then fled from the location. The subject is Black. He has short dreads and gold front teeth. He was last seen wearing a black hat worn backwards, a black t-shirt with a light blue print on the front, ripped jeans, and white sneakers. This subject is believed to have committed five grab and run thefts in the Charlotte, NC area.
