GRAB & RUN – EDINBURGH, IN

On 9/15/21, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a male subject� entered a jewelry store and was greeted by a team member.� The subject wanted to see engagement rings up to 2 carats and was taken to the solitaire case.� There the subject was shown a couple of items but was undecided.� The subject was then taken to the closeout case and shown a couple of items but was still undecided so he was taken back to the solitaire case.� A diamond ring was placed on a presentation pad for the subject and he leaned over and palmed it and then put it in his pocket.� At this point, the team member stated she wanted the ring back and would not remove any other merchandise until the ring was returned.� The subject denied having the ring and eventually left the store with the item� The police were called and a report was filed. The subject is Black and in his 30’s. He weighs 160 lbs., and is 6’2″ tall.� He has dreadlocks and wore a black shirt and grey jeans.� He also wore a blue disposable mask.
