On 10/25/21, at approximately 6:10 p.m., a lone male subject entered a retail jewelry store and requested to look at men’s jewelry.� After looking at a few items, the subject requested to look at a necklace.� While the team member was discussing the chain, the subject grabbed the display, containing the chain, from the team member and ran from the store.� Mall security and the Suffolk County Police were notified. Prior to this incident, the subject committed a grab and run theft at another jewelry store at a mall in Garden City, NY. The subject was described as Hispanic, approximately 19-years-old, with a thin build, wearing a Nike burgundy jacket with a Barcelona soccer team logo, a hood, and a cap covering his head.
