GRAB & RUN – LAKE GROVE, NY

On 9/1/19, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and asked to look at multiple items. The sales associate showed the subject a necklace and a bracelet. Both items were on the front counter. As the sales associate went to open the case, to put the merchandise away, the subject grabbed the items off of the countertop and fled from the area. The subject was described as a Black male wearing a navy blue sweater, blue jeans, and a Nike baseball hat.
