GRAB & RUN – LAS VEGAS, NV

On  10/25/2021, at approximately 1:40 p.m., a grab-and-run theft occurred at a jewelry kiosk in a mall. A male subject approached the kiosk and asked to see gold chains. He also wanted to see how a lion head pendant looked on it. The team member put the lion pendant on it and showed it to him. He then wanted to see a cross pendant on it. The team member showed him how it looked. As the team member opened the case to put the chain and pendant back, the subject reached over the counter and pulled a display out of the case. He fled with the merchandise and dropped lots of the jewelry as he ran. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was notified and will continue the investigation. The subject was described as Black, 5’6″, with a medium build, and in his 20s. He was last seen wearing a crème colored hoodie, black shorts, white Adidas shoes, black socks, a blue covid mask, and a do-rag. He had a tattoo of a dollar sign on his right hand.  If you have any information regarding these subjects, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org or 212-687-0328.
