GRAB & RUN – PUYALLUP, WA

On 11/29/21, at approximately 4:40 p.m., a grab and run occurred at a jewelry kiosk inside of a mall.  An unknown subject approached the location and expressed interest in viewing several pieces of merchandise.  The subject selected a gold chain, pendant, and bracelet. As he was being rung up for the items, the subject began to try on the gold chain. He then requested to see the pendant on the gold chain.  Once the associate showed him the pendant and bracelet, the subject grabbed the items from the associate’s hand and fled from the location with all items.  The subject had started a warranty for the purchase and gave the name of “Oscar.”  There were no injuries to associates or customers. The subject was described as a Hispanic male in his early 20’s. He is approximately 5’4”, has a thin build, and was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white/blue Jordan brand shoes. If you have any information regarding this subject, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org or 212-687-0328.
