GRAB & RUN – REDONDO BEACH, CA

On 9/21/21, at approximately 3:20 p.m., a male subject committed a grab and run theft.  Upon entry to the store, the subject was asked by the team member if he could be pointed in a particular direction. The team member was with a guest.  The subject indicated he was looking for chains.  Shortly thereafter, another team member became available and started helping the subject.  While the subject was trying to decide between the two chains the team member brought out to show, he had one in his possession then suddenly grabbed the second chain that had been laid out on the counter and ran out of the store. The subject was described as Black and in his early 30’s. He has a large build and is approximately  5’11”. He has tattoos on both sides of his neck in red ink.  He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, grayish-blue shorts, white leather sneakers, white socks, and a light gray baseball cap.
