Jewelry Store Owner Killed In Robbery, Two Suspects Arrested

April 23, 2021 - Indianola, MS

On the date listed above, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a subject or group of subjects shot jewelry store owner Jamie Iverson, in the head. She was working alone at the time of the robbery. After the shooting, she was taken to a hospital in Jackson, MS where she later died.

Police are looking for a Black BMW in connection to the killing. No description of the subject(s) was provided.

As of April 28, 2021, Indianola Interim Police Chief Earnest Gilson, has announced that two brothers, Daquarius Wright, 20, and Kenterius Wright, 19, featured below, were arrested in relation to Jamie Iverson’s murder. A tipster’s call led the United States Marshals Service, Indianola Police Department, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Mississippi Bureau of Investigation to make the arrests in Jackson, MS.
