NOTORIOUS THIEF SENTENCED TO HOUSE ARREST – ATLANTA, GA 

Earlier this month, 86-year-old Doris Payne was arrested after she stole a $2,000 necklace from a department store. Payne was observed concealing the necklace in her back pocket. She then tried to leave the store. She was charged with a felony after the incident. Payne pleaded guilty on 12/11/19. A DeKalb County judge ordered her to serve four months of house arrest and three years of probation.
