DISTRACTION THEFT – ORANGE PARK, FL

On 3/9/19, at approximately 5:03 p.m., two subjects entered a jewelry store and asked to see multiple high-end gold chains and bracelets. One of the subjects pulled out a wallet flashing a large amount of cash. After viewing several pieces, one of the subjects stated he would purchase three chains and a bracelet. While at the point of sale, one of the subjects asked about boxes and reached behind the point of sale where the sales associate placed the chains. The subjects were able to conceal chains. They then quickly exited the store. The first subject was described as a 5’9” male with an olive complexion. He has a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark grey suit jacket, gray fedora hat, light blue dress shirt, and dark pants. He has a heavy accent. The second subject is in his 30’s. He is 6’1” and is heavyset.
