
Paterson, NJ– police are investigating a burglary after multiple masked suspects smashed their way into a jewelry store and stole gold jewelry on Sunday night, Dec. 14, authorities said.
Officers responding to the scene found the front glass entrance shattered and broken glass throughout the business, Paterson Police Spokesman Robert Rowan said.
Surveillance video reviewed at the scene showed multiple masked suspects entering the store, smashing display cases, and removing gold jewelry before fleeing the area in a vehicle, authorities said. No injuries were reported, police said.
The value and quantity of the stolen items are still being determined pending a full inventory by the business owner, according to police.
