ROBBER ARRESTED AFTER 6-HOUR STAND OFF WITH POLICE – TRUMBULL, CT

On 11/20/20, at approximately 7:00 p.m., 24-year-old Eddie Lynch brandished a gun and committed an armed robbery at a jewelry store.  He used the gun to break the glass of a display case and that is when the gun went off once. No one was injured. He then grabbed several gold chains.

Lynch then fled from the store and got in a car which led to a police pursuit. He struck one person a few blocks away near where the car crashed. The extent of that victim’s injuries are not known, however, they were transported to a hospital. Lynch remained in the car for hours. He fired his gun at officers at least once during the standoff.
