ROOFTOP BURGLARY – WAKE COUNTY, NC

On 09/23/23, at approximately 2:45 a.m, two unknown subjects cut through a jewelry store’s roof and entered the location in the back room of the store. One subject went to a room and began pulling wires. He eventually pulled the alarm box off the wall and removed the backup battery from the alarm box. Eventually, he went to the circuit breaker board and turned off the power to the store. They smashed a total of 8 showcases and removed the merchandise. A larger loss was averted because the merchandise that was supposed to be in the safe was kept in the safe. The subjects were described as two male subjects dressed in all black with gloves and a mask.
