SMASH AND GRAB – ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL

On 9/21/17, at approximately 9:00 p.m., two suspects entered a store, one brandished a handgun. The other suspect held a small hatchet. The two men went directly to the gold showcase. One of the suspects smashed the front glass of the showcase, pulled out the merchandise and placed it into a bag. The suspects spent 38 seconds in the store. They fled from the store after taking approximately 21 gold chains and bracelets. Both suspects are described as 20-year-old Black males.  The first suspect is 5’10” and weighs 190 pounds. He is stocky and had his hair pulled up in dreadlocks. The first suspect had a slight beard and was also wearing a white t-shirt and black sweat pants. The second suspect is 5’11” and thin.
