SMASH AND GRAB – BOLINGBROOK, IL

On 7/21/18, at approximately 4:43 p.m., four subjects entered a retail jewelry store as a fifth subject held open the vestibule door. The subjects proceeded to smash two jewelry display cases with sledgehammers. They took merchandise and then fled. The subjects were in the store for 30 seconds.

The subjects were described as four Black males. One of the subjects was possibly a female. The shortest subject was 5’4 and the tallest subject was 6’3” and weighed 140 lbs. They wore dark hoodies, pants, and shoes. One of the hoodies had the word Nike written on it in white. The subjects were described as being very young. They escaped into two vehicles; one was a silver Taurus and the other was a black Honda SUV.
