SMASH AND GRAB – NORTH OLMSTEAD, OH

On 1/4/18, at approximately 8:44 p.m., five subjects were involved in a robbery of a jewelry store. At first, a single subject entered the store and examined a display case. He briefly conversed with the sales associate. The subject then called someone on his cell phone and left the store. At approximately 8:46 p.m., five other subjects entered the store. One subject carried a small sledge hammer. The subject with the hammer smashed the display case, while three other subjects removed loose stones. The subjects then fled from the store.
