SMASH & GRAB – ARLINGTON, VA

On 5/22/22, at approximately 11:20 a.m., a Black male in his mid-thirties came into a jewelry store wearing a black hoodie with a black baseball cap and a black mask with tan-colored pants. After rushing into the store, he then pulled out a hammer and began smashing the gold case.  After the glass shattered, he removed 14 gold chains and fled the mall on foot. There were no injuries and the police were contacted and are investigating. The subject is in mid-thirties.
