Smash & Grab robbers strike jeweler and wife with hammer in violent robbery

El Monte, CA – On May 17, 2022, at approximately 1:15 p.m., three subjects wearing masks and hoodies entered a jewelry store and proceeded to smash display cases with hammers.

Watch the video below to see footage of the crime. The jeweler and his wife were struck with hammers. She suffered a chipped tooth and shattered glass cut the daughter’s hand.
