SMASH & GRAB – TEXAS CITY, TX

On 2/4/20, at approximately 2:29 p.m., three subjects entered a jewelry store and then went immediately to the case containing diamonds. One of the subjects took a small hammer and smashed the display case. Once the case was broken, the subjects reached in and removed 9 diamonds. The subjects were in the store for less than two minutes. A fourth subject may have cased the store earlier in the day.

The subjects were described as three Black males. The first subject is 6’0” tall and has a medium build. He is in his late 20’s to early 30’s. He has a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a blue cap with a dark hoody, jeans, and white tennis shoes.

The second subject is 5’8” and in his mid 20’s. He has a thin build and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a grey hoody, grey sweats with stripes and white tennis shoes with gloves.

The third subject is approximately 5’11” and has a medium complexion. He is in his late 20’s to early 30’s. He was last seen wearing a yellow cap, a black hoody, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
