SNEAK THEFT – GREENWOOD, SC

On 11/4/1, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a retail jewelry store was the victim of a sneak theft.  A lone male entered the location and began looking at rings. After looking a several, the male asked to see 1/3 CTW round solitaire ring.  The ring was removed from the showcase and handed to the male.  Then, a second ring was requested.  Once the second ring was removed, the male gained possession of both items.  Next, the male handed one back to the team member and laid the above item on top of the showcase.  When doing so, the male was engaged in conversation about the pricing and warranty.  While the team member was collecting price and warranty information from the Ipad, the male slid the above ring into his right hand.  The male continued to discuss pricing and warranty information with the team member and then stated he needed to discuss the information with his wife.  The male exited and never returned.  The subject was described as White, 5’6″, and having a large build. He is in his mid 40’s. He was last seen wearing a blue hat, jeans, and a light blue hoody. He also has a beard.
