SNEAK THEFT – ORLANDO, FL

On 1/31/19, at approximately 8:40 p.m., a subject entered a retail jewelry store and spent approximately 35 minutes in the store. When sales associates approached him to offer assistance, he claimed he was waiting for his mother. He leaned against a showcase which blocked the view of what he was doing. As the subject stood by the case, the front glass of the diamond showcase shattered. The subject then quickly left the store. After reviewing surveillance footage, the subject was observed using a tool to pry open the showcase. He managed to pry the showcase enough to steal three pairs of earrings. He was described as a Black male in his late 20’s. He is 5’11” and has a medium build. He has a dark complexion and wore long dreads.
