SNEAK THEFT – YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY

On 9/12/22, at approximately 12:00 pm, a jewelry store reported a sneak theft after a subject left the store. The subject was interested in diamond rings and was shown a few on components. While multiple pieces were out for comparison, the subject was able to palm one, and then stated he needed to leave to check on his dog in his car. After he departed, the employee noticed the ring was missing. Yorktown NY Police arrived to take a report. The subject was described as a Black male in his 40s. He was last seen wearing a black hoody, a tan ball cap, and blue jeans. He also had a beard.
