SUBJECT JUMPS OVER COUNTER – ALBUQUERQUE, NM

On 7/17/22, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a lone subject entered a jewelry store and then proceeded to wait for help. A team member attempting to assist, had placed his keys in a case lock. At this time, the subject jumped over the counter and gained access to the showcase. He then stole two elements containing men’s rings. The subject hopped back over the counter and then fled from the store. The subject was seen exiting through the mall’s food court area. The subject was described as Black, 5’9 to 6’, with a medium to stocky build. He is in his late 30’s to early 40’s. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve blue shirt, light-colored sweat pants, dark tennis shoes, and a fedora hat with a gray and white feather on the side.
