SUSPECT SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON – MEMPHIS, TN

On 12/20/19, 24-year-old Jesse Slade, was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing and killing 42-year-old jewelry store manager, Noah Ashene. Ashene held his 20-month old son while he was stabbed. Slade robbed the jewelry store on 2/16/17. He ordered Ashene to kneel on the ground. Slade then stole jewelry from the display case and cash register. Slade proceeded to stab Ashene 15 times in his neck and back. Slade claimed he had done mechanic-work on Ashene’s car and he feared Ashene would recognize him.
