Suspects tied up employees then fled on moped

Okemos, MI – On July 10, 2017, at approximately 10:00 a.m., 22-year-old Nicholas Beauman and 20-year-old Cosette Shreve  committed an armed robbery.

The suspects restrained employees with zip ties. They brandished a gun and entered the store wearing white motorcycle helmets.

After stealing jewelry, the suspects fled on a stolen moped. Police observed the suspects fleeing into a wooded area.

The suspects were later apprehended. Beauman confessed to planning the robbery. The suspects also admitted they had passports and bags ready to flee from authorities.
