TRAIL OF BLOOD LED TO ROBBERS ARREST – CREVE COEUR, MO

On March 30, 2018, 41-year-old Michael Anderson Gladney was charged with robbery and one count of possessing and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. According to Prosecutors, Gladney and three other men entered a jewelry store in Creve Coeur, MO on March 19, 2018. One man held a pipe, while Gladney and the other accomplices were armed with guns. During the robbery Gladney shot himself and left a trail of blood from a display case to the parking spot of his getaway vehicle. Lake County police used the blood at the crime scene to acquire a DNA sample. That sample matched a name in a police database; Michael Gladney. Gladney was arrested on April 4, 2018.
