VICTIM SHOOTS HIMSELF IN LEG DURING ROBBERY – BRONX, NY

On 5/10/22, in the afternoon, a 24-year-old male was browsing items in a jewelry store. Two male subjects then entered the store and attempted to grab a chain from the victim’s neck. The victim brandished a handgun. In the process of attempting to defend himself, he shot himself in the right leg. The two male subjects escaped with the chain and fled in a car parked outside that was driven by a female subject. The victim is being treated for his injuries. No physical description of the subjects was provided.
