DISTRACTION THEFT – WEBSTER, TX

During a routine inventory count on 7/19/21, a jewelry store discovered multiple items missing from a showcase. It was determined at least 21 items were missing. A review of the store’s video system identified a distraction theft that had occurred on 7/17/21. The subject was seen utilizing an unknown type tool to gain access to the case. He had a shopping bag with him which he used to conceal the stolen items in. He was on location for approximately 30 plus minutes. The first subject was described as� Black, approximately in his late 20s-early 30s, with an athletic build. He is approximately 6’2″, and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white t-shirt, blue shorts, a black baseball cap, and white shoes. There was possibly a second subject involved. He is a light-skinned black male in his early 30s. He is approximately 220 lbs and 6’2″. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, khaki shorts, white tennis shoes, and a black baseball cap.
