Well Planned Robbery

Sector 17, Chandigarh, India

On May 1, 2016, at approximately 12:15 p.m., a man in his mid-twenties, his older brother and a female came into the store.

One of the men was in the store the day before and asked if he could see the ring he viewed the day before.

As one of the employees left to readjust the ring size, one of the male subjects brandished a gun and put it to the owner’s head.

The suspect ordered the owner and employee into a separate room and locked them in and took diamonds from the safe.

The robbers seemed to be familiar with store layout and knew that cash was in the safe. The police have demanded a list of ex-employees who have recently quit their jobs.

Investigators suspect that an insider gave the suspects details of store operations.
