West Covina, CA– On April 26, 2025, a jewelry store reported a grab and run theft at the Plaza West Covina mall. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male approached the case where the gold chains are located. The employee assisting him retrieved a gold chain and helped the customer try it on. When the employee removed the necklace from the suspect it dropped to the floor and the suspect grabbed it and ran out the store. The police and mall security were called and arrived on site. No injuries were reported.

Male Hispanic, 5’7 190lbs, 24 YOA, Red tattoo on left hand BLESSED, Wearing, Black shirt with XLRG, Blue Jeans, Tan baseball wearing it backwards
