
Westland, MI– On April 15, 2025, a Jewelry store reported a robbery after a lone male entered the store numerous times throughout the day to view various rings. The suspect returned once again and after being in the store for just over an hour, the suspect produced a weapon and quietly told the employee to place the rings in a bag he carried with him. The suspect then told the employee to go over to another showcase and place numerous other items into his bag as well. The employee was then asked to go the cash register and remove the cash inside. The employee and another employee were then told to go into the back room. As soon as they entered the small office, the suspect pulled out a can of an aerosol irritant and sprayed it at one of the employees before fleeing on foot.
Suspect(s) Description: the suspect is described as an older European white male in his late 60s to early 70s. The suspect was well dressed with leather dress shoes, black slacks, black shirt, black tie and a black suit jacket. The suspect also wore a black three-quarter length overcoat. The suspect appeared to wear prescription glasses and a po’boy hat -burnt orange in color. The suspect appeared to have a pinky ring in walked with his feet turned outwards.
