DISTRACTION THEFT – MOORESTOWN, NJ

On 8/23/21, at approximately 1:24 p.m., two subjects entered a jewelry store and were greeted by a team member. The customers asked to see gold chains and were taken to that case.� While there they were shown several pieces, they were each asking to see different pieces.� The team member did indicate that she had at least 2 pieces out at one time.� The missing chain was one of the pieces that were shown.� When chains were returned to the case, the customers asked to see pendants and eventually looked through a catalog at the other end of the store.� They did not make any purchases during this visit.� On 8/26/21 when case counts were completed, it was determined that a rope chain was missing.

The first subject was described as a Black male.� He is approximately 43-years-old, 5”10”, and weighs 212 lbs. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, a New Orleans� Saints t-shirt, and a Saints ball cap. The second subject is a Black female. She is approximately 40-years -old, 5”8”, and has a slim build with short braided hair and large sunglasses.
