On 10/22/21, at approximately 11:05 a.m. a male subject entered a retail jewelry store under the pretense of shopping for chains.� The subject requested to see a 26″ curb chain. He also requested to see a second chain.� As the team member was attempting to get the first chain back from the subject before presenting a second chain, the subject gestured to his waist area and stated that he has a weapon, and this is a robbery.� The subject grabbed both chains and fled the site and mall.� There are no reports of injury.� A report was immediately filed with the Colorado Springs Police Department, who are actively trying to locate the subject and will continue the investigation. The subject is� White, and he is believed to be in his mid 30’s. He is 5’7″ with a medium build, brown hair, brown facial hair, and blue eyes.� He was last seen wearing a red Chicago Bulls hat with a black front bill, acid-washed denim jeans, and a black hoodie.
