On 10/27/21, a distraction theft occurred at a retail jewelry store.� A male and female entered the site under the pretense of shopping for a ring for an upcoming family reunion.� During the presentation, the female subject asked the team member numerous questions about a particular ring, and distracted the team member while the showcase was open.� The male subject then reached into the showcase and removed an element with six pieces, and concealed the jewelry under a large coat he was carrying.� The male subject then exited the store stating he was going to check on t-shirts being printed.� The female subject exited shortly thereafter. The primary subject was described as� a Black male. He is 5’10′, weighs 240 lbs., and is believed to be in his mid 50’s, with glasses.� He was last seen wearing a dark coat, a dark hat, dark pants, a multi-colored face mask, and he was carrying a coat over his right arm. The female subject is Black, and weighs approximately 210 lbs.
