DIAMOND SWITCH – ATLANTA, GA

On 10/30/22, a jewelry store was the victim of a diamond switch.� A lone male entered the location and wanted to look at two lab-created diamond engagement rings. The team member took the male to the point of sale to check the prices of two rings.� The team member reviewed prices and the male grabbed one of the rings and walked back toward the showcase.� The team member immediately followed.� The male turned to the team member and said “I gotta go” and handed the team member a ring.

As the male was exiting, the team member realized the ring was a Cubic Zirconia (CZ) with a foreign price tag. The subject was described as a� 5’11” Black male in his 30’s. He has a medium build and was last seen wearing a red hoodie, and a medical mask.
