On 12/28/22, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a diamond switch occurred at a retail jewelry store.� A female subject requested to see a diamond engagement ring.� During the presentation, and while holding the requested ring, the subject switched the diamond with cubic zirconia, placed it back in the prop, and sat it on the showcase.� The subject then received a phone call and exited the store with the stolen diamond ring.� The switch was detected after the subject was exiting the site.� The subject was described as a Black female. She is 6’1″ and has a slender build and black hair with dreads.� She was last seen wearing denim, a dark color coat, dark or brown sunglasses, and a black stocking hat.
