GRAB & RUN – SAN JOSE, CA

On 9/30/21. at approximately 8:00 p.m., a grab and run theft occurred at a retail jewelry store.  A subject approached the store and stated she would like to return an item she had purchased two days prior, but she did not have the card she made the purchase with.  While the associate worked with her, the subject requested to see earrings from another associate.  The associate working on the return contacted another store location, who informed the associate that the subject had attempted fraud at their location earlier in the day.

When the subject was informed that the store would have to continue calling around to see who could assist with the return, the suspect ran from the location with the earrings in her possession.  The subject’s name on the receipt was Casslyn.  Mall Security and San Jose Police Department were contacted. The subject was described as a White female in her early to mid-twenties. She is approximately 5’6″. She has a thin build and long black hair. If you have any information regarding this subject, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328 or jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org
