Commerce Township, MI – On January 8, 2019, two suspects entered a store that sells jewelry and proceeded to smash display cases with a hatchet and a sledgehammer.
The suspects ordered employees not to move and then smashed display cases. After taking the jewelry, the suspects fled from the store in a stolen vehicle. They led police on a chase which included them driving through residential backyards. The suspects hit a tree and then fled from the store.
The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Jajuan Profit and 18-year-old Raphael Simmons.
