Bakersfield, CA– On February 08, 2026, a jeweler reported to be a victim a burglary. Upon arrival at the store in response to an alarm call, the store was observed to have fallen victim to a burglary break-in. It was discovered that the Suspects had cut through a mall corridor wall that led into the jewelry store. At some point in the operation, the internet and phone system wiring for the store had been severed and the suspects forcibly accessed 20 showcases and cabinets, whereupon various jewelry items were taken. It was later discovered that 3 masked and hooded Suspects in dark clothing were involved in the store operation whereas a 4th Suspect was waiting outside in the vehicle’s driver side. Mall Security and Bakersfield PD were notified and an investigation was initiated.
