
Raleigh, NC– On August 12, 2026, The suspect was in the store the previous evening with his girlfriend. She stated that they were visiting Raleigh from Georgia while on vacation and were shopping for gifts. During that visit, they viewed a gold necklace and bracelet and advised associates that they would return the following day. They then left the store for the evening.
On August 13, the couple returned to the store. The male suspect stated that he remained interested in the rope chain. The manager informed him that the chain was gold-plated, and he responded that he was not interested in gold-plated jewelry. He further stated that they were also looking for an item for his girlfriend.
The pair continued browsing, looking at watches before returning to the gold chain display. The suspect was shown the necklace he had previously expressed interest in and requested to try it on. With the manager’s assistance, he tried on the necklace while she held it around his neck.
As the manager was removing the necklace, the suspect reached across the counter and grabbed the bracelet from the display pad. He immediately fled the location on foot, running in the direction of Macy’s.
Suspect(s) Description: #1 – Male, black, mid 30’s to mid 40’s, 6’2″, 120 lbs, black hat with white markings, white t-shirt, Movado, earring in left ear, glasses. Suspect was with a Female, black 100 lbs, approximately 35 years old.
